Ep. 9: Sinon confronts Death Gun who kills Pale Rider and reveals his identity using PoH's catchphrase.

Death Gun dodges Sinon’s shot and kills Pale Rider, then introduces himself using PoH’s Laughing Coffin catchphrase. Sinon fails to scan his name and assumes he moved underwater, so she and Kirito pursue him to the Lost City. After failing to locate him, they monitor the next scan and spot Sterben and Gunner X. Suspecting Gunner X is Death Gun due to the reversed name, they rush to a stadium where Sterben vanishes. They split up to hunt a sniper, but Sinon is stunned before she can take position. Death Gun appears, revealing himself as Sterben, and threatens to kill her while brandishing the Type 54 Black Star, the weapon Sinon used to kill a post office robber.
