During their match, Sinon fires repeatedly but misses, leading to a confrontation where Kirito apologizes and proposes a rematch with specific rules. He moves ten meters away and throws a bullet to the ground to start the fight. Despite Sinon’s Hecate having a one-hundred percent hit rate at that distance, Kirito slices her bullet in half and holds her at the tip of his Photon Sword. He reveals he predicted her aim by watching her eyes, demonstrating that his strength transcends the virtual game. Kirito attributes his prowess to skill rather than his SAO experiences and asks Sinon to surrender, stating he does not wish to defeat a girl. Enraged, she complies, vowing that the next encounter will be different.
