Ep. 7: Naofumi defeats a sentient plant monster and Raphtalia seeks a gem gift

Naofumi and his party deliver herbicide to a village overrun by a sentient plant monster, which sprouted from a seed stolen by the Spear Hero. After Naofumi defeats the creature and modifies its seeds for better utility, he sells them to a merchant who hires him for a new delivery job. While the group stays at a hot springs village, Raphtalia feels jealous seeing Naofumi with Filo. She attempts to win his affection by collecting special gems from a local bird, but encounters Filo, who wants the bird's eggs as a delicacy. A silver boar attacks them, destroying the gems and eggs. They defeat the boar, sell it, and use the money to purchase a unique tool for Naofumi’s gem work.
