Ep. 24: Zazie threatens townspeople while the Bees coordinate an attack on Gaichuu Cidre to rescue Lag and Ann.

Zazie holds Lag hostage, prompting the three Bees to execute a plan where Connor and Zazie immobilize Gaichuu Cidre while Lag targets its weak point. Lag retrieves a bag of letters from underground, but Ann, Hunt, and Zazie are captured by Cidre, which attempts to consume their hearts and memories. During this assault, tragic flashbacks reveal Zazie’s parents died from a gaichuu, Ann’s father perished delivering mail outside town, and Hunt amputated his arms to become a circus exhibit to settle debts with Sarah. Lag returns to destroy Cidre, freeing the victims’ hearts. He then discovers Gauche’s memories released from the gaichuu and becomes overwhelmed with emotion.
