Ep. 22: Gauche travels to Yuusari for Whitman's recommendation while Lag investigates Honey Waters

Since Whitman resides at the southernmost end of Yuusari, the round trip requires 10 days, exceeding their one-week deadline. Gauche volunteers to deliver the request and Mana's notebook, enduring harsh conditions to reach the doctor. He collapses from exhaustion, but Whitman agrees to provide the recommendation. Gauche returns with the letter, allowing the panel to permit Mana to continue her research. She successfully completes the project and builds the lounge. Meanwhile, Thunderland shares news from Jiggy Pepper regarding Honey Waters, a town rumored to host anti-government activists. Gauche previously visited this location and met a man called 'one who is unable to become Spirit' before the man disappeared. Lag and Connor are dispatched to Honey Waters to uncover Gauche's findings. They encounter Hunt and Sarah, a couple who fled Akatsuki. Sarah alleges that Akatsuki experiments on artificial spirits, transforming her husband, and gains town support. She displays a black spirit amber, which Lag identifies as belonging to Gauche.
