After Rui, Ran, and Midori intervene when an old woman is nearly struck by a cyclist, she initially rejects their aid. Undeterred, the group accompanies her to the hospital to ensure her safety. The following day, Midori encounters the woman after she leaves the facility. Midori learns that the woman has a granddaughter possessing similar psychic powers. Later, Midori helps the woman escape to a town hill. There, the woman discovers Midori's abilities, and Midori plays the violin while the woman sings.
