The group’s SUV stops for a large ground hole, leading to a helicopter pickup by Saki that crashes during an air assault. Golden Darkness rescues them, allowing the race to continue. Slimes block their path, but Rito and his companions overcome this obstacle. He then encounters alien plants emitting gas that induces a dream state. Near defeat, he is awakened by Haruna’s voice. After finishing the race, Rito unexpectedly marries Lala. She later cancels the marriage to consider his feelings and uses a new gadget to erase everyone’s memories of her. The next day, she transfers to school and is greeted by her class. As with previous inventions, the device was defective, so everyone retained their memories of her.
