Ep. 15: Skill Out members attack espers while Mikoto and Kuroko investigate the gang in Academy City's 10th District.

Mitsuko is attacked by the Big Spiders, a Skill-Out gang targeting espers, but is rescued by a mysterious long-haired man with a spider tattoo. Konori recognizes this man, who is linked to the gang's leader, Wataru Kurozuma. Mikoto and Kuroko investigate the gang's territory in Academy City's 10th District and meet the same man, who guides them to the hideout. Inside, the group faces trouble when the gang uses a Capacity Down device to disrupt their esper abilities. The mysterious man disables the device, identifies the leader as Hebitani Tsuguo, and claims to be the real Kurozuma. He defeats the gang single-handedly. Konori then approaches him, revealing she is an old acquaintance. This incident is part of a series of indiscriminate attacks by the Big Spiders.
