Ep. 17: Tsuzuri meets Haruki Kōnoe at an arcade and finds inspiration through gaming and helping others.

Tsuzuri spends a difficult day doing a curfew run at an arcade, where she encounters Haruki Kōnoe, a classmate of Kazari and Ruiko. With her Anti-Skill duties becoming overwhelming, Yomikawa grants her a day off to complete her teaching tasks. She returns to the arcade to teach Kōnoe how to unlock a secret character in her favorite beat 'em up, Gekisho 9. Later, while Komoe carries a drunken Yomikawa home, she delivers a speech about the joy of helping others, which motivates Tsuzuri. After assisting a mischievous nun and a burger-loving miko, a small earthquake strikes while she helps a girl retrieve a missing pendant. Tsuzuri returns to the arcade to play Gekisho 9 against Kōnoe, both using the secret character. As they walk home, Kōnoe expresses interest in a potential sequel, thanking her for their interaction. Tsuzuri later learns he has transferred to a game-design school sponsored by the creators of Gekisho, which brings her happiness and strengthens her resolve to improve.
