Ep. 10: Misaki recalls cloning experiments while using Exterior to navigate traffic
Misaki employs the Exterior power booster to bypass congestion, triggering memories of a training facility where scientists requested she help a clone named Dolly recognize her as friend Mi. Following Dolly’s sudden death, Misaki discovered the Exterior Project aimed to grant Mental Out capabilities to others, prompting her to brainwash staff to maintain control. Upon arriving at the facility with Mikoto, it is revealed that Exterior consists of a fragment of Misaki’s brain. Gensei synchronizes his waves with the Exterior to remove protections from Misaka 10032 and inject a virus into the Misaka Network. He then initiates his true experiment, utilizing the energy generated by the virus to forcibly attempt to elevate Mikoto to Level 6 esper status.
