After winning a Bl@ster tournament match, Akira is arrested for murder and faces life imprisonment. Emma offers him a chance to avoid prison by competing in the Igura tournament in Toshima. Arriving with only his dog tags, he is attacked by drug-enhanced thugs. A mysterious man in black kills the attackers but threatens Akira, sparing him only because Akira refuses to beg.
