Oct 8, 2010After winning a Bl@ster tournament match, Akira is arrested for murder and faces life imprisonment. Emma offers him a chance to avoid prison by competing in the Igura tournament in Toshima. Arriving with only his dog tags, he is attacked by drug-enhanced thugs. A mysterious man in black kills the attackers but threatens Akira, sparing him only because Akira refuses to beg.
2EP 2Akira and Keisuke navigate Toshima while meeting Rin and Motomi
Oct 15, 2010Akira wakes to find Keisuke has followed him to Toshima. Akira hands Keisuke his knife, and they encounter Rin fighting a man. Rin demands payment for entering his territory but spares them due to their newcomer status. After Akira receives a weapon from Rin, they visit a neutral zone. There, they meet Motomi and learn about the drug Line. Along the way, they encounter the executioner and Kau. Rin escorts them to Arbitro's Mansion, where Keisuke is meant to register. The building is decorated with statues of pretty boys. Keisuke ultimately leaves the mansion without joining the game.
3EP 3Keisuke receives tags and faces Takeru while Akira defends them and retrieves a cross
Oct 22, 2010Keisuke obtains his tags and is attacked by Takeru upon leaving the mansion. Akira intervenes to protect them, causing Takeru to flee temporarily. Akira then picks up a cross before being dragged away by Takeru. It is revealed that Takeru is a former Bl@ster who participates in the Igura to win money. He retrieves the cross, which serves as a memento from his deceased sister. Takeru refers to Akira as Lost, noting that he appears emotionless after winning at Bl@ster.

5EP 5Takeru Takes Line While Akira Escapes Attack and Keisuke Runs Away
Nov 5, 2010Takeru consumes the drug Line after a mysterious man offers it to him. Upon waking, he finds Rin and Akira missing and sets out to search for them. Meanwhile, Akira is attacked by a rain-influenced group but escapes when their leader goes insane and collapses after licking Akira's blood. Shiki meets with Arbitro, who provides a black case containing what appears to be enhanced Line. Motomi saves Akira, who questions if he caused the leader's collapse. After dealing with the Executioners, the pair head to the hotel, where they reunite with Rin and Keisuke. Irritated by Keisuke's tendency to trivialize the situation and belittle himself, Akira yells at him. Feeling useless, Keisuke runs away from the group.
6EP 6Takeru murders club patrons while Akira finds bodies and Keisuke intervenes
Nov 12, 2010A man kills everyone in a club while Takeru consumes Line. Akira searches the city for Keisuke, and Rin overhears Line users at a hotel. Akira discovers the club victims and is disgusted. He is then attacked by Takeru, who licks his blood before retreating. Rin discusses drugs and life with Motomi. Takeru regrets leaving his sister but dreams of winning Igura for his family. Keisuke, empowered by Line, finds Takeru and crushes his skull. Keisuke then locates Akira, knocks him unconscious, and carries him away.

During the fight, Akira loses his weapon and sustains a cut, allowing blood to reach Keisuke’s mouth and causing him to suffocate. Akira experiences brief black flashes of his past before returning to the present. He discovers Keisuke is still alive and carries him to a bed, watching over him until sunrise. Rin then finds them, takes their tags, and leaves to fight Il re. Although Arbitro recognizes the jack, he permits Rin to proceed with the battle.

Rin and Akira hide in a warehouse, agreeing to meet Motomi at the church. Rin initially refuses, questioning Akira’s motives after past betrayals, but admits he would have killed Keisuke for tags. Akira urges trust, promising not to betray Rin, who threatens death if betrayed. Gunji and Kiriwar arrive, forcing them to split up. Gunji pursues Akira, who is severely beaten until N rescues him and takes him to Keisuke. A flashback shows young Akira receiving a knife from N. In the present, Emma and Gwen appear to capture Premier. Emma shoots Gwen and attempts to kill Nano, but Nano pierces her body with his arm. Shiki arrives as Akira prepares to escape with Keisuke.
