Kunikida clashes with Muramasa after learning that Tokko operatives, including Ranmaru, are ordered for arrest. Meanwhile, at the Machida apartment complex, a severely wounded Kureha joins Ranmaru and others preparing to fight Taishi. Ranmaru and Sakura enter the underworld through a large hole in Machida to save Saya and stop Taishi. The narrative concludes with an unresolved tone, omitting the full destruction of the demons. In the final scene, Ranmaru lies in a hospital bed beside Sakura while another massive hole appears, accompanied by Taishi’s echoing laughter.
