Ep. 39: Pie's Dream Manipulation Trap Endangers Ichigo and the Mew Mews

Pie creates a chimera anima that manipulates dreams, putting Ichigo to sleep and impersonating her to lure the other Mew Mews into the nightmare. The group transforms but finds their attacks rebounding due to the chimera's control. Realizing they must wake Ichigo to win, they struggle to do so until Quiche intervenes, stopping Pie from killing Ichigo and waking her up. This action frees the others, allowing them to defeat the chimera anima. Although Quiche attempts to kill Mew Ichigo, he remains too injured from his previous battle with the Blue Knight. Ichigo confronts the aliens, who explain they fight for their friends. The Mew Mews come to understand that the aliens possess their own feelings and something they are trying to protect, mirroring their own motivations.
