Ep. 8: Summer Festival Fireworks and Misunderstandings Among Friends
Tomo convinces Junichiro to attend the fireworks festival with her, while Misuzu, Carol, and Kosuke enjoy the event separately. Tomo dominates a shooting game, drawing attention from stall managers, before Junichiro takes her to view the fireworks. He dismisses her past confession as insincere, prompting her to consider confessing again. The group later confronts Misuzu, who reveals Carol is not her friend. Carol retaliates by tasing the leader, leading to a chase. Misuzu calls Junichiro, and Tomo follows. After defeating the gang, Misuzu apologizes to Carol. Kosuke misinterprets Carol changing clothes. Misuzu blackmails the gang into becoming bodyguards after they learn Tomo is Goro's daughter. The next day, Junichiro happily holds Tomo while walking to school.
