The awakening of the monster-hunting Autobot Crosswise reveals Earth's secret history. Starscream dispatches Megatron toward a false lead regarding the third Cyber Planet Key, while he himself hunts for the Earth Planet Key. Sideways and Starscream track Crosswise, believing he holds the key to its location. As Sideways pursues Crosswise, Starscream uncovers Crosswise's secrets. Meanwhile, the Autobots insert the Jungle Planet Key into the Omega Lock, drawing them into Primus's essence. Through Mini-cons, Primus commands them to maintain balance until all are one. A Polar anomaly leads the Autobots to a hidden cavern containing ancient Decepticons, where they fall into a deadly trap set by Starscream. In space, Megatron and his henchmen are trapped by Starscream's booby-trapped fake Planet Map, with Crumplezone present outside.
