Scourge assists Megatron and the Decepticons in escaping captivity, prompting their journey to Earth. Starscream inserts the Earth Planet Key into the Omega Lock, creating a space bridge that exposes a black hole to the universe. The Autobots receive a cryptic message deciphered by Red Alert and Vector Prime, urging them to bring the Planet Keys and Omega Lock to Cybertron. The Decepticons arrive at Niagara Falls, leading to a confrontation. During the battle, Megatron fights Hot Shot, Red Alert, and Scattershot. He acquires a gatling gun from Earth's Cyber Planet Key and uses it to seemingly eliminate the three Autobots.
