As the Orion spacecraft nears the moon for landing, Hibito receives a video message from Mutta. Across Japan, viewers tune in early in the morning to watch the live broadcast of the moon landing, which Hibito successfully executes. While preparing to take his first steps on the lunar surface, Hibito recalls Mutta's message, which assures him of Azuma's approval. Motivated by this, Hibito turns his initial step into an event known as 'the moon jump'. However, Mutta feels somewhat embarrassed by Hibito's 'inspiration first words' that accompany the action.
