The group arrives in Kyoto, where they spend hours practicing Zen meditation before relaxing in an onsen. Vivienne takes the other girls out to cheer up Silk, who is upset that Makoto is returning to Tokyo early. During the night, a new monster appears. Tsubomi attempts to defeat it by using her meditation techniques to lure the creature into an unguarded state. Despite her efforts, the monster is not defeated and manages to escape. The episode highlights the contrast between the girls' leisure activities and the sudden threat posed by the creature, ending with the failure to eliminate the danger.
