Ep. 1: Sorawo and Toriko hunt a Wiggle-Waggle monster using rock salt and a pistol

College student Sorawo Kamikoshi is trapped in a bog pool in another world, fearing she will die alone, until Toriko Nishina rescues her. They encounter a Wiggle-Waggle monster that causes insanity upon prolonged eye contact. Toriko throws rock salt at the creature, transforming it into a reflective cube. The following day, Toriko finds Sorawo in the real world and proposes hunting more Wiggle-Waggles to sell to a specialized researcher. During a subsequent encounter, the rock salt fails, and Toriko’s pistol is ineffective. After staring at the Wiggle-Waggle for several seconds, Sorawo perceives its true form, allowing Toriko to successfully shoot it.
