Ten accidentally shrinks Lum using a jar that reduces size. As he searches for a reversal jar, Lum claims she needs love and affection to return to normal. Meanwhile, Shinobu rescues a puppy bullied by larger dogs on her way to school. The puppy is actually a shape-shifting fox that falls in love with her and follows her to Tomobiki High School. The school principal announces a contest to select the Queen of the School based on beauty, intelligence, personality, skills, and strength. The executive committee lacks a clear selection plan, but Ataru, the self-proclaimed head, declares he will determine the winner.
