Ep. 21: Ten Secretly Rescues Lum While Karula Interrupts Rupa's Wedding Ceremony

Lum is kidnapped while Ten secretly accompanies her. Her parents receive a wedding message and depart with the Oni Tribe to rescue her, but they are stopped by mushrooms that block all planetary communications. Oyuki informs Ataru, Shutarō, and Benten about the Dark Dominion, a star system without a sun characterized by endless darkness. The group seeks Ran and Rei to borrow Ran's spaceship, using the moon's shadow to warp to the destination. They crash into another vessel and arrive, where the group is captured except for Ataru. He meets Karula, who asks him to infiltrate a wedding to stop Rupa from marrying, claiming they were once in a relationship. The ceremony is interrupted, and Karula asserts Rupa had feelings for her, but he denies this, stating she forced his affection as a child. Hurt, Karula goes berserk, prompting Ataru and Rupa to flee while Lum and the others join them.
