Meifon collaborates with Hyouko Yundou and Futaba Kirii to steal from Veste and profit through gambling. Believing she can win big, she orchestrates Mirei’s participation in a beauty pageant at the Mermaid Festival. Charlotte is declared the winner, but Meifon realizes Hyouko and Futaba rigged the ballots to curry favor with her. When Mirei and Mamori confront the decoys, Meifon leverages her obsession with money to transform into an Arm, defeating the actual opponents. After the scheme is revealed, Charlotte is disqualified from the contest. Meifon then hands over the prize money to Mamori, concluding the conflict while maintaining her criminal partnership with Hyouko and Futaba.
