Doll maker Kasumi Kimihara displays her creations at an exhibition before returning home to her cherished private doll. The next day, gallery owner Yuki Fujimura arrives to serve as a maid, causing Kasumi distress. Later, Kasumi catches Yuki attempting to kiss the doll and stabs it repeatedly in anger. The doll transforms into a shima named Kai-Rai, which Miyu banishes into darkness. During this conflict, the entire mansion is burned down. Subsequently, at another exhibition, rumors suggest that Kasumi and Yuki have formed a romantic relationship.
