An unnamed stray shinma disguised as a salaryman is frozen to death, prompting news reports. Yukari and Hisae speculate about Miyu, but Chisato sees no issue. Reiha and Matsukaze cover the city with snow to lure Miyu into battle and encase Larva in ice. Reiha harbors envy toward Miyu since hearing Kitjutsushi call for her before Tonbi killed him. They previously found an unnamed shinma in the forest, which Reiha froze to death using manifested ice powers. During the fight, Matsukaze shields Reiha from Miyu’s fire attack. Outraged, Reiha attacks with full force, but Larva breaks free and decapitates her. Reiha departs, promising to defeat Miyu next time they meet.
