Hisae’s investigation into Miyu results in her demise, causing Miyu to miss school. Yukari fails to persuade Chisato that Miyu is responsible. Miyu and Yukari meet a street vendor who reveals himself as the Shinma Shidon. Shidon admits using Tokiya to defeat Miyu and hints that Chisato is a Shinma. A flashback shows Chisato awakening bird powers at school, with Hisae as the first victim. Upon learning this, Miyu lets Larva control the match and rushes to Chisato’s house. There, she finds Chisato has killed Yukari. The confrontation between Miyu and Chisato begins immediately after this tragic discovery.
