Shidon doubts Miyu can send Chisato into the darkness, but Larva disagrees. Miyu attempts the task, yet Chisato repels the flames and stabs Miyu with her spear. Inside Miyu's subconscious, her mother asks if she prefers a red or white kimono. Miyu recalls her younger self stacking white rocks by a red river, only to watch them dissolve into sand. She realizes she must choose between captivity or death. Refusing to die, Miyu awakens and grabs Chisato's leg. Meanwhile, Larva defeats Shidon and slices off Chisato's head. Miyu places Chisato into an eternal sleep, where she is seen hanging out with Yukari and Hisae in a park, before finally sending her into the darkness.
