Ep. 11: Jeanne’s Date with Vanitas Backfires Amidst Ruthven’s Interrogation of Noé

Jeanne attempts to deter Vanitas through a date, but she secretly enjoys their time in Paris while Dante and Dominique observe. Separately, Ruthven questions Noé about Vanitas, suspecting he exploits Noé’s innocence. Noé clarifies that he treats vampires and humans equally as flawed beings, denying vampire alignment. Enraged, Ruthven attacks and bites Noé. Later, Jeanne’s bloodlust is triggered when a boy scrapes his knee, prompting her to attack him. Vanitas intervenes, and Dante creates a smokescreen for their escape. Vanitas then allows Jeanne to drink his blood, asking again if she is a curse-bearer. Unable to answer, she receives his promise to kill her personally if she is.
