Jeanne demands The Book of Vanitas but is ambushed by Loup-Garou. Vanitas uses the grimoire to restore Thomas Breneux, whose true name is Bucolicus. Despite being injured, Jeanne persists until Noé appears holding Luca. Vanitas kisses Jeanne and professes his love, causing her to depart with Luca. Nox and Manet discover Breneux dead, killed by Charlatan. Orlok suspends Amelia’s execution, assigning her to Hotel Chouchou. Noé bites Amelia to view her memories of demons and Charlatan. Dominique de Sade chains Noé and guides him to a barrier within Orlok’s facility, revealing Lord Ruthven will attend a masquerade ball. Vanitas leaps through the barrier, grabbing Noé’s hand, and they arrive in Altus Paris.
