Ep. 38: Company B faces riot in Paris, Oscar earns trust, Andre dies after battle losses

Company B is ordered to suppress protests at Tuileries Square in Paris but prepares to side with civilians under Oscar's command if violence occurs. After a German Cavalry Regiment soldier kills a child, unrest spreads. Although the armed but disorganized civilians retreat during the first battle of the French Revolutionary War, Company B forces the German Cavalry to withdraw without firing a shot. Despite this, the civilians remain suspicious. Oscar enters the crowd unarmed, offering her life to prove her men's trustworthiness, and Bernard helps secure their confidence. When the Allemande Regiment attacks, Company B advances, enabling civilians to construct barricades. During this engagement, Andre loses his sight completely. Following the battle, Company B suffers heavy casualties, losing half its members in an ambush by another regiment. While attempting to return to Tuileries, Andre is fatally shot in the heart.
