Ep. 4: Joe struggles for food while Sprocket manipulates Silvia with edited battle footage.
A starving Joe arrives in a city and fails to locate an open hamburger stand. Meanwhile, Silvia, confident that Joe will rescue her, adapts to captivity under Jadow by using her charm to have Biankies prepare delicious meals. The Coordinator Sprocket attempts to break Silvia's spirit by showing her edited film reels of Joe's past battles, aiming to convince her that her boyfriend cannot defeat Jadow's subordinates. Sprocket subsequently dispatches a group of Bianky-Primas to fight Viewtiful Joe in the city, but he easily defeats them. Although Sprocket orders guards to create another edited film of the encounter, she is shocked to discover Silvia watching an unedited copy of Joe's heroic victory, which reaffirms the captive girl's hope for rescue.
