Ep. 13: Hubb and Quent drive to Darcia's keep to rescue Cheza while Blue joins them.
Hubb and Quent purchase a dilapidated car to travel to the next city, taking turns driving while the others drink. Blue initially hesitates but eventually joins the group as they head toward Darcia's keep to rescue Cheza. During a snowy night, Quent believes he sees Blue in the headlights but receives no response. Hubb reflects on his past marriage to Cher, noting how her research with Cheza led to their divorce. Upon reaching the city, the group splits up. Hubb searches for Cher without success, while Quent assists an elderly couple with their stuck RV. The couple mentions a black wolf, prompting Quent to realize they are referring to Blue. At sunset, Hubb reunites with Cher at a fountain. She intends to proceed to Darcia's keep alone, but Hubb refuses to be left behind again. Cher agrees to accompany him, and they return to the car where Quent is waiting.
