Ep. 10: Wolves face giant bugs and riddles in the Forest of Death while Cheza fades

The pack enters the Forest of Death, where giant bugs and dead trees dominate the landscape. Cheza weakens without sunlight or water. Hige and Tsume chase a scentless owl that taunts them with riddles, leading them to a cave containing a skeleton and swarming pill bugs. Overwhelmed, they are saved when Cheza guides them past Venus fly traps to the exit. They emerge under a full moon near a pond. Meanwhile, Quent is interrogated by soldiers about the wolf attacks. In Darcia's keep, Cher learns from Lord Orkham that he stole Cheza unknowingly. He reveals details about the Book of the Moon and warns that Cheza has only a few more full moons to live before her time ends.
