Ep. 18: Yuzuriha faces Satsuki and Fuuma while Kusanagi rescues her after a city attack.

Yuzuriha leaves Kusanagi during a date after sensing a Dragon of Earth attack. Satsuki confronts her about human mortality and uses Beast to kill her, but Inuki dies in her place. Kusanagi rescues the unconscious Yuzuriha, learning of her role. At the hospital, Yuzuriha confesses her feelings, which Kusanagi does not reciprocate, though they agree to stay in touch. Fuuma begins following Yuzuriha, who creates a city barrier. He tests her resolve regarding her dying wish, prompting her to choose life for Inuki’s sacrifice, which embodies another inugami. Fuuma leaves her alone, unaware that Kusanagi was hiding nearby to ambush him if he had attacked Yuzuriha.
