Ep. 15: Saiki Reflects on Destiny While Fuuma Attacks and Kills Him
Saiki recalls training with Aoki and expresses happiness at his destiny to protect Hinoto. Nataku chooses to stay with Fuuma due to their resemblance, and Fuuma agrees. Kamui asks Hinoto to teach him barrier creation to fight without harming others, but she cannot. Saiki suggests Kamui try creating barriers by wishing to protect others. Kamui thanks Saiki, but Fuuma and Nataku attack Toujou Pharmaceuticals. Nataku hesitates to kill his creator, prompting Kamui to confront Fuuma. Kamui fails to create a barrier and is defeated. Fuuma grants Saiki’s wish to die defending Hinoto and kills him, shocking Hinoto. An enraged Kamui attacks Fuuma, who teases him for not trying to kill him. Just as Fuuma prepares to finish Kamui, Subaru’s barrier appears. Later, Subaru is wounded while Aoki holds Saiki’s corpse.
