Ep. 16: Subaru faces Seishirou on Tokyo's Rainbow Bridge after Fuuma grants his wish to lose his right eye.
Subaru was defeated by Fuuma while attempting to rescue Kamui, resulting in the loss of his right eye as requested. Following their recovery, the Dragons of Heaven pursue the Dragons of Earth. Hinoto warns Subaru that Seishirou plans to attack Tokyo's Rainbow Bridge, prompting Subaru to confront him alone. The two onmyouji engage in battle within Subaru's barrier, where Seishirou questions his opponent's desires. When Seishirou attempts to kill Subaru, Hokuto's dying spell reverses the attack, causing Subaru to impale his rival. Shocked by the outcome, Subaru reveals his true wish was to be killed by Seishirou. Seishirou dies without sharing a final secret, leaving Subaru catatonic. Meanwhile, Fuuma and Kakyou note that Hinoto has joined their side and Subaru can no longer create barriers.
