Ep. 12: Himawari’s Secret Luck and Yuuko’s Bird Gift for Watanuki

Himawari confesses to Watanuki that her human form causes accidents for everyone except her parents. She decides to end their relationship to protect him, but he refuses to say goodbye, and they agree to meet again soon. Yuuko explains that the cost to remove Himawari’s bad luck is too steep. She reveals that Doumeki and Himawari already paid this price to save Watanuki’s life, becoming her clients through their wishes. Doumeki sacrificed his blood, while Himawari bore his scars. Yuuko then gives Watanuki an egg from Neko-Musume, which hatches into a small yellow bird. She advises him to give the bird to Himawari, ensuring she will have a close friend without fear of misfortune affecting them.
