Superintendent Muromachi monitors Shiba during Greater Tokyo Area anti-terrorist exercise preparations. Yakushiji confronts her regarding this surveillance before Muromachi visits Assistant Inspector Izumida. Yakushiji identifies Shiba’s Queen as Isurugi Ruriko, revealing her ties to JACES and JPP. Monami, now a young woman after escaping captivity, reaches Izumida’s apartment and collapses. Upon their arrival, Monami and Izumida stay at Yakushiji’s residence. Yakushiji and Izumida discuss Shiba, while Nonagase discloses Yakushiji’s feelings for Izumida to Monami. Nonagase is subsequently unmasked. She then takes Monami to meet Isurugi Ruriko, who explains the true purpose behind Monami’s creation and existence.
