Late at night, Tooru sneaks into a closed swimming pool to practice for an upcoming prefectural tournament, despite his gym teacher's expectations and the eerie atmosphere. While swimming, he hears splashing and notices black, hairlike tendrils following him. Upon reaching the end, he finds hair in his hands and sees more floating in the center. Terrified, he attempts to flee but becomes entangled in the strands and hears cackling. He escapes the pool briefly, only to be grabbed by more hair wrapping around his throat. A giant fish with a woman's head and glowing yellow eyes emerges, laughing as it pulls Tooru underwater.
