He tosses her soap, then a bucket, becoming confused about how others could be present if he was alone. When she asks for a razor and scissors, which he lacks, she begins muttering about cutting something. Her demands escalate to asking for his hair, causing him fear as she shouts for him to lend her various body parts. Terrified, he rushes to finish showering while ignoring her insane requests. Suddenly, a monster with a melted face, long black hair, and scissors in its mouth appears over the wall. It calmly states it will take him entirely, and the story concludes with his feet being dragged over the barrier.

Inside the endless tunnel, they find slime trails and encounter two silent, smiling children who are actually the feet of a giant spider with human heads. The creature attacks through a window. Later, another driver stops in the tunnel after hitting something, finding only slime and an abandoned car. He discovers two smiling men in his backseat who are also just heads belonging to a giant insect. He realizes the tunnel is a nest filled with giant insects that use human heads as their body parts.

After she returns to their hotel and locks him out, the man realizes he lost his key and returns to the museum. He finds it still open and the clerk present, but the clerk’s voice slows as if his batteries are dying. Inside, the man discovers that the clerk, guards, and all other visitors are actually stuffed corpses. As he backs away in horror, he knocks over the clerk, who repeats his greeting until he shuts down. Screaming, the man is surrounded by eyes in the darkness, and the museum fills with animal sounds as shadows reveal the couple as a new stuffed exhibit.

Terrified, she seeks help from vendors, but they have become grotesque monsters, including a goldfish-headed man and one wrapping entrails around cotton candy. Asako flees past distorted people, calling for Miki. She finally reunites with her friend, but Miki stops, her face transforming into the white mask. It speaks the ominous command, causing Asako to scream as laughter and the distant voice echo through the darkened festival grounds.

His friends initially laugh but then apologize, dismissing the fear. Later, before dawn, one boy wakes up needing to use the bathroom. He hears a crack and sees Osamu’s head twisted around with bulging eyes. As the boy screams, he watches other sleeping boys suffer the same fate. Realizing this mirrors Osamu's dream, he is grabbed by the same large hand with red nails. He is forced to look up at the laughing figure, a woman with a twisted head and muscular arm, before his own head is forcibly twisted.

Feb 29, 2016Two teenage couples stop at an unlocked abandoned house to test their courage, hearing rumors of vanished residents. Inside, they discover a Buddhist altar with Hinamatsuri dolls, noting one court lady doll appears to smile and the empress doll is missing. While exploring the second floor, Nobuko is dared to look into a three-sided mirror by her boyfriend Haruo. Although the physical door remains closed, its reflection opens fully, revealing a giant Hinamatsuri empress doll in the threshold. The entity enters the room, grabs Yumi, and exits. The group flees in terror, only to find Yumi’s body slumped on the doll platforms, her face painted to resemble the empress. They turn to see the empress doll behind them, laughing with a witch’s cackle and revealing large teeth.

Mar 7, 2016After classmates describe the urban legend of the Handshake Men, Haruko dismisses the tale as nonsense. She and her sister Naomi return to school late to retrieve a forgotten notebook, encountering a suspicious janitor who questions their presence. On the walk home, Haruko begins to doubt her skepticism when she is approached by a man requesting a handshake. Recalling the story, she complies and flees with Naomi. They subsequently shake hands with a police officer and a third man, but Haruko soon realizes Naomi has disappeared. Terrified that she has encountered the fourth man, she is grabbed by a hand, only to face a creature with a giant mouth ready to bite her off.

Mar 14, 2016Shinichi and Satomi arrive at a mall carnival reminiscent of their childhood, where a clown offers Satomi a balloon. The announcer warns of closing, prompting the clown to invite Satomi to ride the free merry-go-round. While Shinichi takes photos, Satomi appears increasingly unwell on the ride. Shinichi notices two bored children on the carousel who suddenly smile wickedly. When Satomi calls out, her face deforms with googly eyes. Surrounding guests and performers approach with evil smiles as Satomi vanishes. Shinichi finds no one has seen her. The carousel restarts, and the crowd claps rhythmically until a deformed, twitching horse with rolling eyes grabs Shinichi, asking if he is watching. The scene ends with the lights off and eerie laughter.
EP 11Rumi becomes obsessed with a grandmother's cuckoo clock that breaks at midnight
Mar 21, 2016Rumi and her mother visit their grandmother, where Rumi fixates on a cuckoo clock. The grandmother explains the bird only emerges to tell time. Rumi becomes obsessed, mimicking the ticking sound and rushing to the living room whenever it chimes. Her grandmother suggests the clock needs attention to remain happy. Five minutes before midnight, Rumi wakes up and stands before the clock, her eyes spinning like hands. At midnight, the bird fails to appear. When Rumi checks the mechanism, the clock falls and shatters. A grotesque, fleshy bird with rolling eyes emerges, making a distorted sound that amuses Rumi. The next morning, her mother finds Rumi missing from bed. Downstairs, Rumi makes ticking noises. When her mother calls out, Rumi turns around with spinning eyes and a mouth transformed into a clock door. As the door opens, screams and choked cuckoo sounds are heard from the house exterior.

Mar 28, 2016Late at night, Tooru sneaks into a closed swimming pool to practice for an upcoming prefectural tournament, despite his gym teacher's expectations and the eerie atmosphere. While swimming, he hears splashing and notices black, hairlike tendrils following him. Upon reaching the end, he finds hair in his hands and sees more floating in the center. Terrified, he attempts to flee but becomes entangled in the strands and hears cackling. He escapes the pool briefly, only to be grabbed by more hair wrapping around his throat. A giant fish with a woman's head and glowing yellow eyes emerges, laughing as it pulls Tooru underwater.

Drawings: A teacher observes a boy sketching monsters assimilating people in her town.
Apr 4, 2016This episode opens with a boy drawing on a playground slide while other children play hopscotch. A new teacher arrives in town and attempts to engage with him, but he walks away. Later, she notices him drawing in class and asks for a portrait, only to be told it would be boring. Another teacher informs her that three students are missing, having been seen at the park. The new teacher follows the boy over several days, witnessing him draw various monsters consuming humans, including a giant heron and mannequins chasing a store manager. She discovers his sketchbook contains drawings of the missing children playing hopscotch, grabbed by a monster. The boy then draws her, stating she is more interesting now. She is surrounded by monsters from the third season as the boy’s face fades into the mask worn by the kamishibai storyteller from the first two seasons. The storyteller declares "the end," revealing the season one opening scene with children watching blankly. The end card slams repeatedly as the children’s faces distort into monstrous forms like a frog, prawn, and sea slug. Finally, the boy stands before the kamishibai theater wearing the original mask and says "The End."
