A hospital patient wakes from a vivid dream at 2:15 AM, seeing himself on an operating table surrounded by laughing surgeons. He finds his call button broken and encounters a sign reading "On rounds" at the front desk. Chasing a nurse through dark corridors, he realizes he has returned to the exact hallway from his nightmare, with the same clock and a truck carrying blank mannequins visible outside. Ignoring a warning to avoid a specific room, he peeks inside to find it empty. Later, hearing laughter outside his door, he hides under covers. When he looks out again, he is suddenly on the operating table with monstrous surgeons. An older patient hears the commotion and is escorted away by a nurse who reiterates the hospital rule. The episode ends with the mannequin truck driving away.
