Jody shouts "Tanomou!" at Yawara, shocking the dojo after Hanazono reveals her world champion status. Yawara resents Jigoro’s decision to enroll her in Sakai College. Jigoro fights Jody, whose powerful aura forces her to cry "Mairimashita!" immediately. Jigoro keeps Jody as Yawara’s training partner. Jody’s intense regimen worries Yawara about failing her Mitsuba College entrance exam. Meanwhile, Sayaka defeats Stelkes in Belgium. Jody also defeats four ruffians at a high school. Yawara initially tells Jody to return to Canada, but Jigoro reveals she studies Japanese late at night. Realizing Jody’s dedication, Yawara apologizes, and the two become friends while arranging a match.
