92
Paddy-field proposes a tactical lineup for the judo competition, assigning Yawara to face the initial opponents, followed by herself, Kyon-kyon, and Sayuri to exhaust the remaining rivals, with Fujiko anchoring the squad. During the event, the team discovers that Jigoro has altered the rules from an elimination format to a points system. Under this new arrangement, each member competes individually, and the first team to secure three victories out of five matches wins the contest. Shinnosuke accuses Matsuda of conspiring to rig the matches. Yawara easily secures her first victory. When Paddy-field prepares to fight, Matsuda offers advice against the French judoka Deneuve, a veteran of the World Cup.
