Ep. 11: Protagonist escapes tatami world, saves Ozu, and begins dating Akashi in reality

The protagonist remains trapped in the 4½ tatami room, eventually realizing his love for Akashi upon seeing her lost mochiguman. A swarm of white moths appears, causing him to trip out of the simulation into reality on the night of Gozan. He finds Ozu, dressed in women's clothing from episode 6, being threatened by Jogasaki and Aijima on a bridge. The protagonist rescues Ozu from the river, followed by the moths. He then approaches Akashi, who is petrified, returns her mochiguman, and asks her to the ramen shop, which she accepts. Jogasaki secures employment, while Master Higuchi departs with Hanuki. The protagonist moves into a new 6 tatami apartment to avoid smaller rooms. He visits the hospitalized Ozu with Akashi, offering help similar to Ozu's past support, leading to an awkward exchange where Ozu rejects the sentiment.
