Ep. 7: Protagonist Joins Hero Show Club and Navigates Complex Romantic Entanglements

The main character joins the Hero Show Association, performing in costumes for children. Jogasaki hires him to care for his love-doll, Kaori, leading the protagonist to develop feelings for her. Meanwhile, he maintains correspondence with Keiko and grows closer to Hanuki. Within one day, Hanuki invites him for drinks, Keiko requests an in-person meeting, and Jogasaki demands Kaori’s return. The protagonist initially attempts to elope with Kaori, fleeing to a bathroom before deciding to run away with her. Upon returning home, Kaori urges him to rescue her from Jogasaki, with her voice resembling Ozu’s, suggesting Ozu’s involvement. Torn about exploiting the situation, he is pressured by Johnny but ultimately stopped when Jogasaki, alerted by Ozu, retrieves Kaori. The protagonist regrets not meeting Keiko, accepting the outcome despite his lingering sadness.
