After the Orichalcos incident, the Kaiba brothers invite Joey and Yugi to the Kaiba Grand Championship to secure their return tickets. The event features a duel computer designed to help beginners improve their skills. A mysterious hacker traps everyone inside and sets the difficulty to Expert level. This leaves amateur duelist Rick unable to proceed. Yugi steps in to duel on Rick's behalf but must use a deck filled with Dragons and lacking magic and trap cards. The group must now navigate this dangerous digital arena to survive the heightened challenge imposed by the unknown intruder.
