Yami Yugi combines the Legendary Knights to create the Knight of Destiny, destroying the Divine Serpent. A vortex opens, and Dartz is taken by the Great Leviathan. The knights release the souls of Yugi, Kaiba, and Joey. A global storm brews as Atlantis rises from the sea, sending a hurricane toward the East Coast. Yugi, Kaiba, and Joey travel to Atlantis to confront the Great Leviathan. Dartz awakens the creature by sacrificing his own soul. This confrontation marks the end of the duel and the beginning of a new threat as the ancient city emerges.
