Yami Yugi overcomes the Great Leviathan’s absorption by channeling the strength of friendship, thereby ending global catastrophes. Dartz is released from the Orichalcos and returns home with Kris and Ironheart. As Atlantis collapses, Yugi and Yami depart while others flee. Captured souls awaken, and Mai leaves Valon with her Cyber Harpie, promising a future duel with Joey. The pair wash ashore and are visited by Dark Magician Girl and the Legendary Knights, who confirm the world’s safety before returning to the Duel Monsters Spirit World. The group later rescues Yugi from the island. Before leaving, Yugi agrees with Yami that he will assist in uncovering the secrets of Yami’s past.
