With Tristan, Téa, and Mokuba unconscious, Yami Yugi rejects Dartz’s plea to sacrifice his soul. He activates Legend of Heart to summon the three Legendary Knights of Atlantis, destroying Dartz’s Orichalcos Shunoros and Orichalcos Tritos. Dartz then discards his hand and pays all Life Points to summon the Divine Serpent, which possesses infinite attack points. Yami Yugi’s Life Points drop to zero after an attack, but he survives using the trap card Relay Soul. He relies on Dark Magician Girl to stay in the duel, knowing its destruction means defeat. Dartz commands his Divine Serpent to attack Dark Magician Girl, leaving Yami Yugi’s fate uncertain as the Pharaoh attempts to destroy the serpent to win.
