The gateway to the monster world opens, releasing creatures to aid Yugi, Kaiba, and Joey. Despite their combined efforts, the trio is defeated and absorbed by the Great Leviathan. Once the Pharaoh is fully consumed, he rallies the souls captured by Dartz. The monsters lend their strength, enabling Yami to summon the Egyptian god cards. This power frees Kaiba, Joey, and himself from the Leviathan’s grasp. They then use the summoned monsters to destroy the Great Leviathan and release the trapped souls. As Atlantis collapses, Yugi, Joey, and Kaiba attempt to flee. However, they are intercepted by a revived Dartz and the Great Leviathan, halting their escape.
